Noise Pop Death March begins!
What with all the head-turning headliners, it can be easy to miss one of the major highlights of Noise Pop: loads of interesting openers. This is where you find the gems — these are no random acts thrown on by the label or venue, each show has like three opening bands that have all been given the once-over by someone who was paying attention. As I’ve said repeatedly and with relish, festivals are where you get the chance to see a ton of acts you’ve never heard or even heard of, at little risk to your wallet. This is where the juice is, pepples! Soak it up!
