Ooooh, I gots a good one for you today. This one comes by way of Sirius XMU, the satellite-radio station that is called XMU because it plays “college” music. Anyways, that’s the default channel on my TV because I don’t want the TV to be showing me anything without me asking first.
XMU is a decent enough station regularly, but the shows to catch are the “Blog Radio” (shudder) shows — which might not sound appetizing, but what it is is the folks behind your more popular music blogs like Gorilla vs. Bear and My Old Kentucky Blog. Which means thoughtful choices, no official playlist or rotation, and as a bonus you might actually hear songs that are more than three months old.
