When I was watching Grizzly Bear at the Treasure Island Music Festival, I had a revelation waft over me. I’d always considered Grizzly Bear to be serious, quiet, and musically complex. But it wasn’t until the major cloud of weed smoke appeared that I realized that they’re a stoner band! And also, similar to Steely Dan!
