I’m usually the first to scoff at music “news” like “Band Reveals Artwork And Track Listing For New Album!!!”
However, I will admit that there’s something about the artwork for the upcoming (Feb. 2010) Midlake album The Courage Of Others that has me reeel excited. Like the artwork for The Trials Of Van Occupanther, it’s low-budg, trippy, and unashamedly nerdy.
It’s been a long three years since their flawless last album, so let’s take a pause to remind ourselves what the gentlemen from Denton are capable of.
