Today’s reason to love the Treasure Island Music Festival? That park-in-SF, take-a-bus deal works really well. I’ve heard folks both fearing and lamenting the transportation, but I’ve never had a problem the last two years. (Of course, I get there at noon and leave during the last band’s set…)
Everyone’s surprise summer sneak-up-from-behind-and-hug-you-and-sing-in-your-ear band Passion Pit will be handing out smiles from the Bridge stage on Saturday at 2:50 — I’ve heard they’ve been working hard at rocking a live show that matches the sound and energy of their recent album, so I’m looking forward to checking out the results. And shaking my ass.
