Legendary Bay Area venue Freight and Salvage has always held a dear place in my heart for hosting the most amazing folk/bluegrass/etc. performers in an all-ages venue. (There’s also no booze, which has a delightful effect on crowd noise during songs.)
So it’s good new to hear that construction is finishing up on their new, super-green building, and they’ll be moving in on August 27.
