Holey maloley — if, like me, you happen to think that wallowing in live music from last weekend’s Newport Folk Festival is just about exactly what you want to do, you’re in luck.
NPR Music covered the grapes out of Newport, so there are archived performances from heavy Vedge faves like The Avett Brothers, Gillian Welch, The Del McCoury Band, Fleet Foxes, Neko Case, Iron & Wine, and Ramblin’ Jack Elliott.
What’s more, Newport rounded up all the usual suspects, so there’s plenty of legends like Pete Seeger, Joan Baez, Mavis Staples, Arlo Guthrie, and Judy Collins to boot.
