I usually try to keep a pretty good variety going here in Vegetable land, so there haven’t been many artists who’ve been posted more than once or twice.
There are heavy and notable exceptions: Nick Cave’s various endeavors, George Jones, and The Avett Brothers.

This is what I’m doing here, hunched over this godforsaken computer. There’s a lot of truth and beauty out there, and I figure I can use this thing to tell your godforsaken computer to let you know about it. And when the music is this dear to me, it feels like that Sacrament of Vocation they taught me about in school.
For my money, Scott and Seth Avett are the best living American songwriters. They come with an emotional honesty that’s increasingly rare, and they’re hard, hard workers every day. Touring now, new album (I And Love And You) in August.
