The Night Is So Black That The Darkness Cooks

by Kevin Vegetables on September 11, 2008

Don’t tell Mrs. Vegetables, but there’s no one in the world I love more than Rob Halford. I always feel that way when I listen to Priest.

And what’s a salute to cover songs without one of the most successful? Judas Priest is probably better-known for Green Manalishi than Fleetwood Mac, but don’t be misled — the original version is plenty evil (take a listen via this YouTube vid, complete with vinyl crackle).

But we are gathered here to celebrate The Priest, so here’s a classic live version of one of the most awesomely titled songs ever.
