Sheets Might Be Satin, And The Pillows Look Suede

I don’t believe in “man crushes.” Why can’t I just have a full-on regular house-sized CRUSH on a fella? I mean look at him!

I could go on forever as to why I love Fresh, but I’ll try to keep it short.

Mannie brought the home-cooked beats when everyone else was leaning on lazy samples, and single-handedly made pop hip-hop listenable again.

Mannie knows how to have fun. Go Chubby Boy!

But most of all, when Mannie finally made a solo album, he made it (to Lil’ Wayne’s consternation) about “lovin’ and huggin’ people and ‘Hey lady, you look so fine.’”

As the man says, “this is some beautiful wholesome, loving, kind-type stuff.” (Now, he follows that line with a song called “Pussy Power,” so take that for what it’s worth.)

Wop wid it!

Standin’ by a tree!
