Today’s Vegetable comes courtesy of the “shuffle” function, coupled with the fact that I’ve been spending way too much time in the car lately. This combination led me to listen closely to a fantastic song I might never have gotten a chance to really hear.

It comes from a 2-disc compilation that has a unique theme: all of the songs were recorded in the same studio (Rare Book Room in Brooklyn). It’s a theme that causes you to listen in a different way. (Unless you’re shuffling “all,” in which case you only hear one song every two months.)

Blah blah, so shuffle, yes, music, good song, why not stop reading and listen? I’ll help by stopping writing.
