If you’re a lover of noisy pop bands I’m wagering you’re smiling wide these days. They’re popping up like sugary little worms after a rainstorm.

My current favorite, and a favorite of many others, is Brooklyn’s Vivian Girls. Their debut LP (10 songs, 22 minutes) sold out in less than two weeks, but fear not. The Girls have signed to In The Red, and Vivian Girls will be reissued in the fall.
