El Rebelde Del Acordeón
I wish I knew more about Latin music, because there’s a whole world of beauty to discover, and I can’t tell a conjunta from whatever kind of sounds like one.
I’ve really got to get to work on this. Tips welcome.
T-Bizzy slid me some Celso Piña a while back and it’s about time I shared. If you want to learn more, I recommend this great article in the Austin Chronicle about him and the twist on Colombian cumbia called “cumbia dub.”

The first time I ever heard this song, I thought they were singing about a “supitero nacional,” which is a lot funnier than the real lyrics. But it’s still muy bueno.
