Brother, You Don’t Need To Turn Me Away

Fleet FoxesAs you might have gleaned from the high rainbow content of my recent postings, I have a soft spot for the gentle hippie. I love how they sprout up after the spring rains.

Right now is a great time for us gentle-hippie lovers. There are sorts of earnest, bearded young men riding around on magic tambourines plying their harmonic wares.

So this weekend, I’m making you a gentle magic hippie sandwich. You’re the meat!

The first slice is Fleet Foxes, from Seattle. Their EP Sun Giant can be purchased directly from Sub Pop now, and comes out in stores Tuesday. They’re releasing a self-titled album in June.
