ditto that: RIP Ike. he was a bona fide crackpot genius. true, tina did NOT deserve to be whacked around like that, but still, the man was brilliant.

And vice-versa. But Ike tarnished his legacy with his behavior, and he obviously can never be spoken of without mentioning it. I’m glad Tina spoke out, and I’m surprised there aren’t more similar tales told throughout popular music. But then again, Tina’s famous, and the other mistreated women are usually written off as “groupies.”
