I See A Salty Message Written In The Eaves

Mansard RoofYum, Vampire Weekend! Right now you can only get their single, but the album’s coming out next month. If there is a leak of that album, I haven’t heard it, so I can’t tell you if the rest of the songs on it are each in their own way tiny slices of perfection in the prep-school-African-pop-ska style. However, you can hear more of them (including the only song I’ve ever heard about the serial comma that uses the F-word) at their MySpace page (where they claim to be “specialists in the following styles: ‘Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa’, ‘Upper West Side Soweto’, ‘Campus’, and ‘Oxford Comma Riddim’”). Also, you can download a song at their regular site.
