BeirutI hope it’s also cool and overcast where you are, because this song will fit perfectly. You might have already heard way too much about Beirut already, but if you haven’t, it definitely deserves a listen. There seems to be quite a wave of orchestral pop these last few years, and I’d like to go on record as saying that Hello Vegetables is in favor of this.

There isn’t really an easy way to have you listen to this first, and then tell you that it’s essentially the work of a guy who is 21 years old, so just pretend it’s a surprise, OK?

I have no idea! But then again, I rarely have any idea what he’s saying — it’s really easy to pretend he never sings in English.
