The Avett BrothersThe Avett Brothers’ Emotionalism is my new favorite album. I was going to post a fine tune called “Shame,” but this song made me cry, so I am duty-bound to post it (so that the “Songs That Make Me Cry” category doesn’t languish).

Most of the other songs on the album have a slightly different sound, so I’ll post a video of another song so you can get a better feel for them.

The Avett Brothers – The Ballad Of Love And Hate from Emotionalism

And here’s the fellas performing “Paranoia In B FlatĀ Major”:

god bless a banjo player!
oh, and how you neglected to mention how super HOT these guys are is sorta beyond me, even if they are a little blurry to me now.

I had heard a couple things by them I liked, but this performance totally locked me in.

And they are super-cutie-pies.

Here, check out Scott Avett solo on “If I Get Murdered in the City.”

They haven’t released it on an album as of yet, so you’ll just have to catch them live to (maybe) hear it.
Damned if I didn’t almost tear up hearing it live.
