Another classic song I first heard as a cover. It would be years until I heard the original Modern Lovers version of Road Runner, which would prove to be so mighty it would stand on its own — despite the fact that I had heard the Pistols make a beautiful mess of it a million times.
(Although the album came out in 1979, I believe this track is from 1976. Note the pre-Sid competence on bass.)
