The Words That Dribbled Out His Kiss

Coheed And CambriaCoheed And Cambria, why do I love thee? Let me count the ways.

1. High singing

2. Concept albums

3. Lyrics that seem to make little sense until you read them. Then they make less sense.

4. Lots of colons, like the song The Willing Well III: Apollo II: The Telling Truth from the album Good Apollo, I’m Burning Star IV, Volume One: From Fear Through The Eyes Of Madness (which is part four in a series in which there is no part one album).

5. Death-metal screaming and Air Supply vocals on the same song.

Anyways, they’re great and this album in particular is in the Book of Right-On (right on).

  1. Death-metal screaming? That’s charitable, I think.

It’s songs like this that make me wonder exactly how much younger Kevin is than me.

But, I’m sure I’m wrong and just need more time.

  2. ZOMG this album took me to the very brink of insanity. I’m actually glad that I didn’t enjoy the followup as much. Another album that almost broke my brain was Liz Phair’s self titled.

  3. THIS IS THE NEW ALBUM COVER TELL ME YOU DON’T WANT TO LISTEN TO THIS
